the dick's sporting goods foundation started the sports matters initiative to address the financial epidemic facing high school sports programs nationwide. through sports matters, teams in financial distress nationwide could raise money and dick's sporting goods would match their fundraising dollar for dollar. we wanted to highlight one of the sports matter program's most empowering success stories – harlem lacrosse and leadership.
